Start with your requirements
Provide the destination country and port, target model-year band, preferred engine and drivetrain, mileage limit, essential equipment, colour preferences and complete budget. State which requirements are fixed and which can move. The first search returns current candidates rather than a permanent promise of stock. A used vehicle should be matched to its documents and reviewed through current exterior, cabin, engine-bay, instrument and underbody media. The inspection scope can include paint readings, structural areas, cold start, diagnostic scan, transmission and drivetrain behaviour, brakes, tyres, electronics and fitted equipment. Findings should distinguish confirmed facts, seller statements and unresolved questions.
New vehicles still require identity, production-date, exact-trim, storage-condition and pre-delivery checks. Warranty is not assumed to transfer internationally. Specification, connected services, radio, navigation and driver-assistance support can differ by market, so the actual vehicle and destination must be evaluated together.
Quotation and shipment
A useful written quotation separates vehicle purchase, inspection, approved work, inland logistics, export documents, port handling, freight and insurance. Destination duty, tax, broker, compliance, registration, storage and delivery should remain visible even when another party estimates them. Currency, route, validity period and the point where responsibility changes must be stated.
Purchase approval should name the vehicle and refer to the accepted inspection and scope. Export preparation then follows the agreed document, inland-transport and port plan. Copies should reach the destination broker before arrival so inconsistencies can be raised while correction is still practical.
